Americanism, unity, and jurisdictional fellowship

Honoring our past. Strengthening the present. Moving the next generation forward.

On Sunday, September 13, 2026, Acacia Lodge No. 91 traveled to the Grand East in Topeka for Prince Hall Americanism Day. Brothers and sisters from across the jurisdiction gathered to honor the nation, celebrate Prince Hall heritage, serve their communities, and strengthen the fellowship that connects the Prince Hall Masonic family throughout Kansas.

For Acacia, the purpose of making the trip was larger than attending a program. It was an opportunity to connect Prince Hall's historic legacy of citizenship, education, leadership, and service with the responsibilities of the present day. Americanism Day called the lodge family to remember where it came from, stand together now, and prepare a stronger path for the generations that will follow.

Past Master Curtis Pitts served as the guest speaker and delivered a deep, timely message centered on coming together and moving future generations forward. His words challenged those present to turn unity into action, invest in young people, and carry the values of brotherhood and service beyond the walls of the Grand East.

Acacia was deep in attendance. Ten brothers made the trip from Junction City and represented the lodge with pride. Their presence showed a shared commitment to supporting the jurisdiction, honoring the occasion, and carrying Acacia's standard wherever the work calls.

The sisters were there as well, looking outstanding and adding their grace, support, and fellowship to the day. Their presence helped make the gathering complete and reflected the strong bonds between the lodges and chapters that support one another across the state.

The lodge family had a great time listening, learning, reconnecting, and standing together at the Grand East. Prince Hall Americanism Day became an important addition to Acacia's historical record and a reminder that representation matters: Acacia Lodge No. 91 continues to show up with purpose, honor its past, and help build the future.

The flyer began with Bro. Al Gordon.

Bro. Al Gordon started building the Prince Hall Americanism Day flyer as part of his continuing graphic work for the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Kansas. The version preserved in this gallery was later altered, but its foundation and original creative direction began with Bro. Gordon.
